Adventure Time:

This family friendly, third person game is a cute 3D platform game (think Mario 64 in the modern world). Jump on baddies, attack them with your sword and hunt out the hidden bonuses.
The only downside to this game is that you can complete it in an hour as it’s branded as a demo length game, but it certainly gives an excellent insight into how platromers will develop in the VR world.

Street View VR:

Built around Google maps collection of location, Street View VR promises to show you the world without a plane ticket, from your childhood home to your exotic holiday destination. You’ll even be able to learn about your location thanks to location-aware Wikipedia integration. There’s an astonishing 3000 locations to explore, from underwater scenes, mountaintops to the big cities so you’ll never run out of places to explore.

Lands End:

This is a short but sweet Puzzle game which takes you through various worlds locating white dots, which you need to illuminate by looking at them. The whole game is literally about joining the dots through differing worlds and blocked paths. The game builds up to become more challenging and more entertaining the more you immerse yourself in the Lands End worlds. The graphics are a little old school but the VR experience is as immersive and simple to use as you’d hope for.

Gone:

An episodic thriller from the makers of The Walking Dead, this TV show style interaction plays out in from of you. It plays out like a virtual reality show, in which you become a follower to the story of a couple and their little girl, who happens to disappear. Rachel Skidmore (Director of media development) explains; “the plot here is centered around how quickly someone can disappear. This little girl goes missing in broad daylight, and her mother’s life spirals into a personal investigation.” Be interactive through the ‘hotspots’ via your gaze to focus in on relevant conversations or clues.
