The BlackBerry Leap will be available soon

BlackBerry® has unveiled its latest device, the BlackBerry® Leap, joining the BlackBerry Classic and BlackBerry Passport. The Leap is an affordable smartphone with a touchscreen and a modern design, minus the QWERTY keyboard. The Leap keyboard learns how the user writes and will rectify any mistakes. The device features BlackBerry® Blend which allows the user to receive emails, texts and BBM on any device.

Aimed at young professionals, who are more familiar with touchscreen displays, and at companies who need top level security and privacy, the Leap has  been equipped with  support for encryption, together with built in malware protection and back up, wipe and restore capabilities. This will safeguard and protect any sensitive communication at all times.

The BlackBerry® Leap has an edge to edge 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and the latest Blackberry 10.3.1 operating system, with Hub, Blend, Assistant and BBM built into the device.  It has 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It also boasts an all day 2800mAh battery together with an 8 megapixel rear camera capable of recording full 1080p HD video and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

This latest device from BlackBerry®  is designed to run on 4G LTE networks and features a wide range of apps available both on BlackBerry® World (offering business and productivity apps) and the Amazon AppStore where games and Android apps can be downloaded.
