Apps to download for your Moto Z, Moto Z Play and Moto Mods.

Motorola recently announced the modular Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Play, along side the Moto Mods, a range of modular accessories. Be sure to check out our previous blog to Meet the Motorola Moto Mods in more detail.

To accompany the hardware launches, Motorola have created a number of apps available on Google Play store to control and customise your modular accessories further.

1. Moto Mods Manager: Free

First up is the Moto Mods™ Manager app, which allows you to interact and control your Mods.

The app provides an intuitive and easy to use Android experience and allows you to:

  • Check battery status
  • Receive software updates
  • Change settings

2. Moto Mods Projector: Free

The Motorola app works with just the Insta-Share Projector. The app allows users to control the brightness of the image coming from the projector, and includes other settings as well.
