HTC have announced the budget, entry-level Desire 310. This new smartphone runs  Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor with 512MB of RAM. It also has 4GB of built in storage which, with a microSD card can be upgraded to 32GB.

The 4.5 inch touchscreen display has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels with a pixel density of 217ppi. On the back of the device is the 5 megapixel camera. At the front you will find the 0.3 megapixel VGA camera. With the help of HTC’s Video Highlights you can easily turn your images into videos, add music and share with family and friends via social media sites.

With Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, the device also has Blinkfeed and Offline Reading. From Facebook to Twitter you can stay connected and with HTC Blinkfeed your screen will automatically update every time you refresh your phone. HTC Blinkfeed also keeps you up to date with breaking stories, current news, headline summaries and images from around the world. And with Offline reading you can add up to 120 different articles which can be accessed and read later whilst on the move.

This new device from HTC will compete with the likes of other smartphones in its class such as the Motorola Moto G.
