HTC has announced the new One M9 with some distinct upgrades and changes compared to its predecessor, the HTC One M8.

The One M9 keeps the premium design with aluminium unibody and the same 5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p and a pixel density of 440ppi. Both devices are lightweight and fit comfortably in the hand. The M9 has been given a scratch resistant coating and is available in a range of two-tone, eye-catching colours, Gold on Gold, Gold on Silver and Gunmetal Grey.

HTC’s One M9 has been given a 20 megapixel camera with a dual-LED two-tone flash.  To the front is a 4 megapixel with a wide angle lens for the perfect selfie. The front UltraPixel camera can also shoot in 1080p HD video. The new device has enhanced BoomSound speakers with two modes on the M9, the first for music, the second for surround sound music when watching movies or gaming.

The One M9 arrives with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit chip, which is energy efficient, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with support for microSD card.  The One M9 launches with Android 5.0 Lollipop and Sense 7, which makes icons look clearer. The M9 has a large 2840mAh battery to provide all day performance.
