LG has announced the next generation of curved smartphones with the LG G Flex 2, the successor to the G Flex.  The new device has a self-healing coating on the back which helps the phone to recover from any minor scratches received from everyday use. The healing time is just 10 seconds at room temperature.

With its eye catching curved display, the Flex 2 sits comfortably in the hand and against the contour of the face. It has no side buttons making the curved Flex 2 easy to hold and easy to operate.The device offers better voice quality with the microphone close to the mouth when making calls. The Flex 2 has a 5.5 inch P-OLED screen slightly smaller than the 6 inch display on the G Flex.

LG’s G Flex 2 measures 7.1 mm thick and weighs 5.36 ounces making it lighter and thinner than the G Flex. The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 2GB RAM. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and with its quick charging 300mAh battery the device can be charged to 50% capacity in 40 minutes.

The 13 megapixel rear camera takes vibrant shots even in badly lit conditions, and with its laser auto focs, fast moving scenes are easy to capture. With LG’s OIS technology and dual LED flash, the G Flex 2 will supply superb images.
