Seven rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7

Samsung are set to release the Note 7 early August, but what can we expect from this updated Phablet?

Here are seven rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7:

1.  Samsung have confirmed a release date for the Galaxy Note 7 of August 2, with a launch taking place in  London and New York City.

2. The handset is likely to feature a curved 5.7-inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED display.

3. Leaked photos of the Note 7’s camera modules have pretty much confirmed the rumours of an iris scanner lock screen

4. Many in the mobile market are expecting Samsung to give the Note 7 the same 12-megapixel, dual-pixel lens fitted to the Galaxy S7

5. There are three different launch colours for the device – Black Onyx, Blue Coral and Silver Titanium.

6. It is looking like Samsung are defiantly skipping the Note 6 title in order to keep their handset in line with the Galaxy S7.

7.  The Samsung Note 7 is said to measure around 153.5mm x 73.9mm x 7.9mm (a simulate size to the Note 5).  It is also rumoured to be coming with  an IP68 rating, making it water and dust resistant.
