Karaoke lovers will rejoice at the new karaoke sessions inbuilt into the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman. Press the microphone key on the Mix handset to hear the backing and see the lyrics on screen and the sing along session begins. Another impressive music feature is the Zappin key, which can recognise and play the chorus of the song, allowing you to choose the song you want to hear in an instant. Press the Zappin key again and your chosen song will play again from the beginning.
We also loved the Track ID feature found on the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman handset. If you hear a song on the go that you’ve not stumbled across before, record a few seconds of music and the outstanding TrackID feature will provide you with the song name, artist and album in an instant.
Other media features include the Media Go, which makes it a lot easier for users to access, transfer and share media via a handy drag and drop function. We were impressed to see that Media Go even converts film and music files to provide the best possible quality on the go.
The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman also offers full Wi-Fi, touch user interface, Google Talk, Social Networking integration and a built-in email client.
