Blackberry launched the Bold after the request and continued success of the Blackberry 8310 Curve, Blackberry’s best selling handset.

The Blackberry Bold features a sexy design, full QWERTY keyboard, built in GPS & WiFi and 3G connectivity. We consider the Bold to be Blackberry’s best and feature packaged handset on the market to date.

The 2.0 Mega Pixel Camera did not disappoint in a variety of lighting conditions. However, most end users will not purchase this for photography power. The big feature of any Blackberry is the email functionality. With 3G connectivity and WiFi, you will always be connected to your office with the Blackberry Bold.

Battery life of 312 days standby and 5 hours talk time is more than satisfactory and from our field tests of our test handset here in the office, even with 3G browsing, battery life was maintained.

The size of the handset my deter some Curve enthusiasts as it is slightly bigger. However, we would suggest the the Blackberry Bolds shell and bright screen makes up for this slightly bigger clasp.

Since early December we have had stock of the Blackberry 8900 Curve and thought it only right to do a review considering recent additions to Blackberry service and the popularity of the devise.

The Blackberry 8900 Curve is the upgrade from the Blackberry 8310 Curve, Blackberry’s most popular and highly sold devise. The 8900 features many of the same aspects of the Original Curve, however endorses a better spec all round, including WiFi and an upgraded interface similar to the Blackberry Bold.

You can use built in GPS to locate your current location, a real plus if you tie it in with a sat nav application. There is also an onboard 3.2 Mega Pixel camera for shooting pictures and video.

Blackberry recent launched it’s Blackberry Application store, similar to App store which has been available through Apple for some time now. Blackberry users can download applications from free to use on their devise.
