HTC Smart Review
Friday, September 3rd, 2010
The HTC Smart offers an affordable alternative to the wealth of high-end Smartphones and eye-catching alternatives, such as the HTC Desire and Blackberry 9700, for those who are looking for a feature packed handset on a budget. We have tested the HTC Smart to see whether it can fight off competition from its bigger, more expensive opponents.
The HTC Smart is light-weight, compact and sleek and we were extremely impressed with the speed at which the handset operates. Despite housing a smaller processor than the HTC Desire (a 300MHz processor with 256MB of RAM), menus load quickly and apps work with minimal lag. The HTC Smart runs on Qualcomm’s BREW Operating System, but you can also take advantage of HTC Sense UI complete with Friend Stream social network integration.
The camera on the back allows you to capture your special moments with 3 megapixel images, and a built-in LED flash too, which is quite impressive for the price tag. However, the most appealing feature offered on the HTC Smart is the Sense feature, which allows you to stream all of your details for Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites, into HTC’s FriendStream application. This allows even the chattiest of social networkers to keep in the loop 24/7.

Whilst the HTC Smart can’t offer the same heavy-weight feature punch as the HTC Desire and HTC Legend, it does allow users who are on a budget to get a taste of higher end Smartphone features without breaking the bank. The HTC Smart looks the part and offers some user-friendly features and apps that will keep even the pickiest user happy. You can order the HTC Smart Sim Free online now from Unlocked Mobiles.
