Last month we received the LG Viewty Smart GC900 mobile phone. We thought that as they appear to be so popular, that we would write a review on the handset for all of you LG mobile phone addicts.

First point to mention, which is fairly obvious as it takes the ‘Viewty’ name, is that the LG Viewty Smart is very similar the original and very popular LG Viewty. However, it does have some very nice features up it’s sleeve which we will mention shortly.

In terms of appearance, the LG Viewty Smart GC900 is a very slim and attractive mobile phone. We would certainly suggest that the feel is better than the LG Arena KM900. The screen resolution is on a similar level to the Arena and so is the user interface of the LG viewty Smart.

One of the Viewty’s main assets and which is relevant for the Smart addition is the LG Viewty Smarts digital camera, a high end 5 Mega Pixel. Mobile users are able to enjoy a wider and much more vivid display than with most phones on the market through the large full colour touch screen and Mobile XD engine.

A cool feature, as we seen on the Arena, is the ability of the VG Viewty Smart to recognise handwritten text input. This is very handy for writing messages and emails on the move.

With HSDPA, WiFi, GPS and upto 32GB of expandable memory, we suggest the LG Viewty Smart GC900 to be a very nice and worthy purchase.
