This week saw the arrival of the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic in the office. Most people are aware of the heavily advertised Nokia 5800 XpressMusic launched back in January and this new releases sees a different aspect in Nokia’s XpressMusic range.
First you will notice that the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic features an actual keypad as well a touch screen interface. There is also a slide out Qwerty keyboard which is very handy fro using Nokia’s new email client and messaging. Music is the focus, as with the Nokia 5800, which allows you to directly download from your computer or on the move over the mobile network.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 5730 Xpress Music is very high spec, it features WiFi, HSDPA, 3G Connectivity and built in GPS. What more could you really ask for.
We consider this to be one of Nokia’s best releases this year, the handset is feature rich, has loads of storage for your music and video’s of upto 16GB. The only downfall is the 3.2 Mega Pixel Camera, if it was a 5 Megapixel, we would be raving about it. Nevertheless, overall the handset is superb, the slide out Qwerty keyboard is excellent and we certainly recommend this phone to those who may have considered the 5800 but didn’t want to rely totally on the touch screen.
