iPhone 8 to get rid of Home button and offer 3D Cameras?
Ever since the release of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, there have been rumours circulating about the improvements Apple will make to their iPhone 8 model.
Even with six months left until release, suggestions are pointing at a major overhaul – not just in the name (with Apple rumoured to skip the 7s pattern), but also with some iconic Apple design features.
@VenyaGeskin1, who accurately leaked the Samsung Galaxy S8 ahead of its announcement, has leaked some sketches of the iPhone 8 outlining the modifications.
Whilst there are no annotations or accompanying notes, the sketches do hint at an all screen front design, with no physical home button. This leaves us anticipating a fingerprint scanner built into the display. The additional sensors above the display also suggest that an iris scanner could be adding an extra security level to the device.
The rear cameras are also repositioned, with vertical line up rather than the horizontal of the 7 Plus, suggesting a 3D camera may be on the cards.
