New BlackBerry KEY2 images and specifications leaked a day ahead of launch.

BlackBerry fans will have tomorrow’s date firmly highlighted in their calendar as the date the BlackBerry KEY2 is finally launched. However, we wont have to wait overnight for an update on the iconic design.

Serial tech leakster Evan Blass tweeted pictures of the new handset, showing us a very similar design to the original KEYone:

Evan continued the BlackBerry leaks, throwing out a full spec sheet for the KEY2:

The classic keyboard has returned with new level of refinement, with a touch enabled 35 key design and integrated fingerprint sensor built into the keyboard.

According to Evan we can expect the dual cameras to both offer 12MP with dual tone LED flash, 4K video recording at 30 fps and Phase detect auto focus. The front camera is said to be an 8MP fixed focus selfie camera, with 1080p video recording at 30 fps.

We’re likely to see Android 8.1 Oreo as the OS, a Qualcomm SDM660 processor and a 3500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.  Internal memory is rumoured to be 64GB or 128GB, with 6GB RAM and a micro SD card slot for expandable memory up to 256GB.
