LG has officially launched its new smartphone, the LG G3. The device features a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD 2560 x  1440 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 534ppi, The G3 has a 2,46GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has 2GB of RAM. It also has 16GB of built in storage and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The LG G3 has an amazing 13 megapixel rear camera with a laser auto function.  This function uses a laser beam to accurately measure the distance between the camera and the subject matter of your image. It speeds up the image taking process even in low light conditions. It also has a dual-LED flash and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera, which has a gesture control to allow a countdown before taking the shot.

Having a smart design on the G3, with its curved back makes the device easy to hold and use one handed. Like the G2 at the rear of the device are buttons to unlock and lock the screen and to adjust the volume.  The back of the device is made of durable plastic and metal which is both scratch and fingerprint resistant. The device is available in black, white and gold.

LG’s G3 with its features and performance together with its design is set to be a rival and contender to both the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8.
