Register your interest in the LG V20 with Android Nougat

Earlier this year we saw LG release one flagship smartphone this year, the modular LG G5. Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (Quad 2.1 GHz), with 4GB Ram and Android™ 6.01 Marshmallow the LG G5 manage to match its under the hood power, with the clever and sleek exterior design. However, the Korean manufacturers haven’t stopped there. LG are teasing us with their second high end offering, the LG V20, releasing information gradually to keep our interest high.

LG V20 leak

@Onleaks have leaked some renders of the V20, which show a similar modular design to the LG G5, with a similar pop-off base as the previous flagship. Speculation also suggests that the LG V20 will be released with Android 7 (Android Nougat). The handset is also likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, with a Quad HD screen of at least 5.5/5.7 inches. Other leaks hint at a secondary ticker screen, dual rear cameras and a rear fingerprint sensor.

LG V20 Rendor

The only official news confirmed by an LG press release centres around the Quad DAC, making the handset ‘the first smartphone in the industry to feature 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter) capabilities, bringing a superior audio experience to mobile for the very first time.’

Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company also stated that;

“The LG V20 upgrades and extends its predecessor’s cutting-edge multimedia features a step further, providing distinctive mobile experience and sets a new standard for premium phones for consumers.”
