What to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S9 upon release at Mobile World Congress 2018

Mobile World Congress 2018 is taking place in Barcelona at the end of next month, and with it it’s bringing a plethora of flagships to update our mobile world.

Samsung have confirmed the launch of the latest Galaxy devices are coming during  Mobile World Congress with an announcement suggesting there’ll be be camera improvements to enjoy.

  • Launch date: End of February 2018
  • Release date: March 2018
  • Durability: Possible Water repellent design
  • Internals: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 oct-core chip, with four cores running at 2.8GHz and four at 1.8GHz
  • Camera: 12 MP (f/1.5, 26mm, 1/2.5″, 1.4 µm, Dual Pixel PDAF), phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash, Geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 9MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection, Auto HDR, panorama
  • Video: Chipset changes may also allow the camera to record 4K Ultra HD video at 60fps.
