Design
The Z3 weighs in at 164 grams and measures 140 x 72.8 x 9.3 mm. The sturdy handset features straight lines and subtly rounded edges. With top quality build materials, the front of the device is all glass and the rear back plastic panel is textured to help with the grip. In the centre of the rear panel can be found the BB logo. To the right of the Z3 are the microSD card and microSim slots, with the volume rocker and mute keys on the left of the device.
Display
With great viewing angles, the BlackBerry® Z3 has a 5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 resulting in a pixel density of 220ppi. The device has an on screen QWERTY keypad which features predictive text. It arrives with BlackBerry® Hub which keeps all your messaging and social networking in one place.
Camera
The BlackBerry® Z3 has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and is capable of recording Full HD 1080p video. The device features touch focus, burst mode and geo-tagging together with Time Shift which takes multiple shots and allows you to choose the best shot.
Connectivity and Performance
BlackBerry's Z3 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. It has a 2500mah non removable battery which should provide up to 15.5 of talk time and up to 384 hours of standby time. It has 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. There’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, together with A-GPS, FM radio, an accelerometer and a proximity sensor.
