The Huawei P8 Max features a 6.8 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 producing a pixel density of 326ppi. Viewing angles are good, colours are vibrant and images are sharp. The front of the device benefits from a sheet of Gorilla Glass 4 for a high level of protection.
Design
The Huawei P8 Max is made with an integrated high-performance magnesium alloy, the same metal used in aviation construction. The device measures 182.7 x 93mm and is just 6.8mm slim. With its seamless design and premium metallic finish, the P8 Max is available in Luxurious Gold.
Connectivity and Performance
The Huawei P8 Max runs Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System and has a Kirin octa-core processor. There’s 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The device comes with a large 4360mAh battery which should provide up to 2 days of normal use and a day and a half of heavy use.
Camera
The rear camera is 13 megapixels and the front camera is 5 megapixels. The primary camera features Optical Image Stabilisation, an RGBW image sensor and dual-LED flash. The device features Director Mode for videos, a beauty camera and a light painting function.
