Design
With a seamless, metal unibody design, the P9 Plus measures 152.3 x 75.3 x 7mm and has been sculpted using aerospace class aluminium with 2.5D glass. With its metal frame and its diamond cut edges the P9 Plus has a premium feel. The P9 Plus features Huawei’s fingerprint scanner on the rear to swiftly recognise and unlock the device.
Connectivity and Performance
Stay charged longer with the large, non-removable Li-Ion 3400mAh battery promising two days of normal use. Rapid charging is present via the USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device. With high frequency audio performance, the P9 Plus comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI interface. There’s 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable internal memory up to 128GB on board, together with a quad core 1.8GHz processor.
Camera
The P9 Plus features two 12megapixel camera manufactured in collaboration with Leica. One of the sensors takes pictures in monochrome the other in RGB colour. Both sensors have f/2.2 apertures, phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash to produce professional images every time. There’s an 8 megapixel front facing selfie camera with f/1.9 apertures and autofocus.
Display
The P9 Plus features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This gives a pixel density of 401ppi, with bright and vivid colours. With superb viewing angles, the P9 Plus features increased colour saturation and higher contrast ratio to bring a rich and vibrant viewing experience. The P9 Plus comes with the easy to use “Press Touch†technology allowing images to be previewed or magnified.
