The 4.7 inch IPS LCD display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 312ppi. With Technicolor Colour Enhance, colours displayed on the screen are bright and skin tones are realistic. The device has a full 180 degree viewing angle and can easily be viewed in bright sunlight. The device features bevelled glass on the front and has dual front facing speakers, perfect when video watching.
Design
The compact Alcatel Idol 3 4.7 has a soft touch grey back with a lightly brushed finish. The sleek, all plastic device is 100% reversible and can be used either way up, whether you are making or receiving a call. So if you take the phone out of your bag or pocket the wrong way round it won’t matter. The Idol 3 is just 7.6 mm thick and weighs 110 grams.

The Idol 3 4.7 inch model has a 13 megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash and features Touch Focus, Face Detection Panorama and HDR. There’s also a front facing 5 megapixel selfie camera which is perfect for video calls. The device can also shoot 1080p video at 30 fps.

With a 64-bit 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the Idol 3 has 1.5 GB RAM and the Adreno 306 Graphical Processor Unit to ensure crisp video playback.
