LG have released updated versions of three of their classic handsets, the LG K4 (2017), LG K10 (2017) and the LG K8 (2017).

Over the next few days we’ll be taking  a look at the tweaks and improvements LG have made.

First up, the LG K8 (2017); one of the most affordable Android devices on the market.

Offering the same size display as the previous K8, in a slimmed down frame, the old Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 has been upgrade to a Quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex-A53, with an Adreno 308 GPU.

The camera’s had the biggest upgrade, from 8 megapixel to 13 megapixels, and the battery has enjoyed a 375mAh increase to offer a full days usage.

We’ve got LG’s latest budget friendly handsets, the LG K7 and LG K8 in stock. Here’s the lowdown:

The LG K8 comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (294ppi). The device measures 144.6 x 71.5 x 8.7 mm and weighs 157 grams. The LG K7 also features a 5 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (196ppi) and measures in at 143.6 x 72.5 x 8.9mm.

Powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU, LG’s K8 offers 1.5 GB RAM whilst the K7 by a quad-core 1.1GHz CPU with 1.5GB RAM. Both devices come with an internal storage of 8GB and feature microSD support.

The LG K8 has an 8 megapixel main camera with a resolution of 3264 x 1840 pixels, autofocus and LED flash. There’s a secondary 5 megapixel front facing 720p camera which supports 1080p video at 30fps. The K7 also features an 8 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front facing camera. Both devices have a 2125mAh removable battery, Bluetooth and GPS. The LG K7 features Android v5.1 Lollipop and the K8 comes with Android v6.0 Marshmallow.
