The Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 Now Available to Pre Order
Saturday, January 17th, 2015This week at CES, Samsung launched the new Galaxy A series, beginning with the Galaxy A3 and A5, both mid-range smartphones.
The Galaxy A5 features a 5 inch HD Super AMOLED display (720 x 1280 pixels) with a 13 megapixel rear camera. It has a 2300mAh battery and 2GB of RAM.The Galaxy A3 on the other hand comes with a 4.5 inch qHD Super AMOLED display (540 x 960 pixels) and an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has a 1900mah battery and 1GB of RAM.
Aiming at a young market, both devices have a beautifully crafted slim metal unibody design, the Galaxy A3 measuring 6.9mm and the Galaxy A5 measuring 6.7mm. Both devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s TouchWiz featuring Ultra-Power Saving Mode, Private Mode and Adaptive Display. Both devices have a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor and 16GB of on board storage. They both feature a microSD card slot and a 5 megapixel front facing camera.
The new Samsung phones will be available in a variety of colours including Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Soft Pink, Light Blue and Champagne Gold.
