LG has unveiled its compact version of the full size G2 smartphone, the G2 Mini. With its 4.7 inch display the G2 Mini is similar in size to the HTC One device but due to the lack of bezel around the phone or any physical keys at the front, the device doesn’t feel that big in the hand. As with previous LG devices, the G2 Mini comes with rocker buttons on the rear just beneath the camera.

The device has a Qualcomm 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor and 8GB of internal storage and 1GB RAM with a microSD slot for expansion. The LG2 Mini runs on Android 4.4 KitKat as opposed to the G2 Jelly Bean. The device arrives with an 8 megapixel primary camera with a 1.3 megapixel camera for selfies.

LG’s G2 Mini also features the Knock Code security system which allows you to tap your own unique pattern to unlock your handset.

The LG G2 Mini has a 2440mAh Lithium-polymer battery, providing far more battery life than some of its rivals. With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the LG G2 Mini is a compact and solid handset.
