Display
The Xperia Z3 features a 5.2 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels providing a pixel density of 424ppi. The bright display provides sharp viewing even in bright sunlight thanks to the contrast enhancement technology and with X-reality for mobile each image is analysed to provide optimum colours, sharpness and contrast and to reduce noise.
Camera
Sony Xperia Z3 has a 20.7 megapixel camera which can be used underwater whilst swimming in fresh water for up to 30 minutes. It is also possible to dive down to 1.5 metres to take snaps, making sure that all covers for the ports are firmly closed first. The Z3 also has a 2.2 megapixel front facing camera together with a video camera capable of recording 1080p video at 60fps.
Design
The Sony Xperia Z3 measures 5.75 x 2.83 x 0.29 inches, weighs 152 grams and fits nicely into the hand. The super slim design has a rounded aluminium frame and durable tempered glass panels giving the device an elegant and premium finish. The device has an aluminium power key, volume rocker and camera shutter buttons along the right edge together with the waterproof flaps over the microSD and SIM card slots. The device is available in white, black, silver-green and copper colours.
Connectivity and Performance
This latest release from Sony, the Xperia Z3, has an efficient quad core Snapdagon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM. With a 3100mAh battery you can expect up to 740 hours of standby time on 3G and up to 16 hours of talk time again on 3G.The device is equipped with high resolution audio playback and features PlayStation 4 Remote Play.
